  5. I really enjoyed the movie, I think it has lots of good things to take into account and start putting them in practice in our life, even though the movie show us some bad reactions (shootings, violations, discrimination, broken laws) we have to think why people do such a thing and we should put ourself in other people shoes. Also, this movie show us some real facts abour life, because that not only happens on movies.
I was very happy to see how a father defend her daughter even though he knows that if he do what he did he would be send to jail.
i think that "To kill a mockingbird" must be a great book, and a very interesting topic to discuss all together in class.
    see you on Thursday.

  7. gabyyy it`s a great movieee
    special matt ajaj
well you know i think that if matt (i don`t remember his name in the movie) could make people realise that we are all equal so then we can. Maybe we don`t need to think about only black people cause in argentina we don`t have so many cases of white people against blacks, but in life we have to realise that things have to change
    see youu
oh! and i am also afraid about KKK as josie and mela are, they will kill uuus! jajajaj

The KKK will most surely come and get you if you're lazy at school and don´t do your work, guys! What's more, I might be one of the people wearing the tunic and hood! :-)
I hope you enjoy the book To Kill a Mockingbird, kiddos. It's one of the most beautiful books ever written, in my opinion. You could fill a whole notebook with quotes from it that are important to our lives. My absolute favourite character is Atticus. Well, Scout too.

    Fantastic blog, Miss Gaby! Congratulations!

  9. gaby here there is a little of my information:
Harper Lee was born in 1926 in Monroeville,Alabama, a village that is still her home. She attended local schools and the University of Alabama. Before she sarted writting she lived in New York, where she worked in the reservations department of an international airline. She has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize, two honorary degrees and various other literary awards. Her chief interests apart from writing are ninteenth-century literature and eighteenth-century music, watching politicians and cats, travelling and being alone.

I was happy that justice could me made on little Tonia's case since innocence had been raped out of her, fact that makes me really angry.
I agreed with the judge's resolution in the end of the film, too.
Hope the book is really interesting, too.

  14. hey Gaby!, how are you doing? I finally get to post in this log after such a long time.

About the movie, I really liked it, thinking deeper than Matthew McConaughey, it touches a very important issue in life : JUSTICE, FAIRNESS and EQUALITY.
I personally believe that ew also have racisim in Argentina, but it's not expressed the same way as it is in the US. I believe WE, our society (I include myself) hide it, we are not that honest about it, maybe we don't admit it; and that makes it softer, to put it that way.

I have some trouble with the forum, I just don't know how to use it jajaj, you should explain us later.

    Have a niece time, Sofi
