    2) He explains Walter situation because Mrs Carlonie wanted to give him some money to eat. Not knowing Walter backround made her think she was doing the right thing.
Mrs Caroline was new in the town and didn't get to know all the families there and the way each and every one onf them lived, She had no idea the rules the Cunningham's had against recieving money that later the wouldn't be able to give back.
3)Burris Ewell was a very mean boy who wasn't interested in having an education. He didn't really have a family that cared for him or his brothers.
His past relatives were the same as him. They had no respect for other people, they would speak their mind and not care for other people's fellings.
4)Atticus talks with Scout about the importance of going to school, she dind't want to be like de Ewell family that lived like animals and went to school olny when they were forced to.
Atticus made a deal with Scout that consisted in Scout not complaining any more about school and not wanting to go ,and in exchange Atticus would keep on reading with Scout but she wasn't alowed to tell Mrs Caroline about it.

    See you tomorrow Gabuuux!

  2. 1) The contrast is that Dill doesn't know his father snce he left both hi and his mother a long time ago. Dill's mother works a lot and that's why she leves him with his aunt during summertime in Maycomb.
As regards the Finch's, their mothre died when Scout was a very little girl, that's the reason why she says that she doesn't miss her, while Jem does since he was older when she died.
The kids relation with Atticus is strong but at the same time they treat him with respect. He works a lot and the kids only see them when they returnfrom school or at dinner.
2)(I guess we had already answered this quetion). Well, anyway, Scout explains the Cunningham's situation to Miss Caroline since she was a new teacher in town and so she didn't know which was each of the families situations in Maycomb. As se wanted to give him some money, Scout thought that it would be better if she explained Walter's situation, and the fact that as a Cunningham he couldn't return money when borrowed some.
3)Burris Ewell was another case of MAycomb's families. Their family only sent them the first day of school, and afterwards they would never return. The authorities got tired of following them, and so they were free and stayed at home working, most probably.
The Ewell's were untidy, extremely rude and poor too, that's why he treated Miss Caroline rudely till he got to the point of making her burst out to tears.
He was older than the other children since he had repeated first grade on and on.
    4) The thematic advice Atticus gives to Scout has a lot of significance, since he makes Scout understand that school is an important source to success and education, being completely different than the Ewell's who are rude and doesn't care about that. He convinces her of going to school without complaining , because that will be the only way in which he will continue reding to her, although it is prohibbited.

    Hope this is fine!
    See you teacher
